“Patient, structured, and great with beginners. My 10-year-old went from ‘ugh, practice’ to actually asking when his next lesson is.”

Common questions

How does TutorBridge work?
Browse verified music tutors by instrument, level, and location. View their real availability, book a lesson with a card, and meet online or in person. Tutors can message you, share sheet music, give you assignments, and log every lesson.
Are tutors background-checked?
Yes. Every teacher must complete identity verification and a FCRA-compliant background check before they can list lessons or accept bookings. Verified status shows on their profile.
How much do lessons cost?
Each tutor sets their own rate. Most lessons range from $25 to $90 per hour depending on experience, instrument, and lesson mode (online vs in-person). Prices are shown upfront — no hidden fees.
Can I take lessons online or in person?
Both. Filter for live online tutors, in-person teachers near you, or those who offer both. Online lessons use the platform of the tutor’s choice (Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, etc.).
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel more than 24 hours before your lesson for a full refund. Late cancellations may be subject to the tutor’s cancellation policy. Tutor no-shows are always refunded in full.
How do I become a tutor?
Sign up as a teacher, complete identity + background verification, set up your Stripe payout account, list your rates and availability — and you’re live in the marketplace.
